There’s a middle of winter outside the window and on the calendar, but our hearts already yearn for a holiday, spring freshness, the aroma of fresh greenery and the first flowering. All this, of course, can be brought into your life by simply flying to a warmer country, but for those who cannot afford it due to embarking on an important project or a busy schedule of work that has piled up after the New Year holidays, perfumers of leading world brands have offered their solution. Their new scents will paint the picture of reality with spring colors by the wave of the hand.
Dior’s Miss Dior EDT this time acquired shades of orange peel and fresh cold lilies of the valley. Guilty Eau de Parfum from Gucci was tinged in the new season with notes of mandora—a cross of mandarin and orange. The main aroma comes from violets, roses, patchouli and geranium.
Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum is a new fragrance of the Chance line, filled with freshness and buoyancy imparted by white flowers, teak and citron. The motif of Guerlain’s Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose completely changed due to the presence in the new composition of notes of neroli—from the flowers of a bitter orange—and Bulgarian rose.
Creators of Kenzo cheated a little and, instead of updating the composition of Kenzo World Eau De Parfum Fantasy Collection, changed its appearance. The new “all-seeing eye” bottle, made in soft colors, reminiscent of printed lace on spring floaty fabrics, was designed by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. At the heart of the fragrance are still peonies, almond blossom and iris.
Pink Paradise from Lalique is undoubtedly the most “airy” representative on the list. Musk, fresh heliotrope flower, sea water and the aroma molecule Iso E Super manifest against the background of citrus freshness.
