Combining the latest technologies and architectural trends with a timeless classic, Bvlgari unveiled its new luxury hotel in Shanghai, which became the sixth jewel of the brand’s hospitality collection, currently covering Milan, London, Bali, Beijing and Dubai.
In Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai, which opened its doors at the end of June this year, a 48-story glass and metal tower adjoins a neoclassical building dating back to 1916, the restoration of which took almost 8 years. The design work was entrusted to Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which fulfilled the task with pinpoint accuracy.
As a result, the hotel offers 82 rooms, including 19 suites, where the atmosphere of glamor and comfort is complemented by an extraordinary design and personal service. The Bvlgari Spa and fitness center occupies 2,000 square meters (21,528 square feet) covered with parks and gardens, providing a full range of health and beauty treatments, as well as a fitness studio with personal instructors.
You can taste classic Cantonese cuisine in the Bao Li Xuan restaurant, and enjoy Italian and Mediterranean food in IL Ristorante – Niko Romito. Then you can go to IL Bar on the 47th floor, offering views of the Bund, the famed waterfront of the Huangpu River, or visit the most luxurious place in Shanghai—La Terrazza, located on the hotel tower’s rooftop.
