In search of answers to the age-old question: "Smart or beautiful?", the Ukrainian edition of L’Officiel has interviewed five females who meet both criteria and, among other things, have inner harmony, a good sense of humor, a successful career and thousands of fans in social networks.
Instagram stars with over million followers turn their accounts into independent media, covering subjects of interest to them for the whole world to see and getting into media plans of the world's leading brands and fashion houses as effective channels of communication with the target audience.
Anna Andres became one of the participants, sharing her secrets of a perfect body, outer and inner beauty, and a source of personal motivation.
I start each day with morning exercises: 60 squats, 1.5 minutes in the plank position, 15 push-ups. Plus, three cardio and two strength training sessions per week. From the age of nine, I played volleyball and sport has become an integral part of my life. Now I try to do everything that gives me good mood and energy: morning runs in the fresh air, functional training. Systematic character is key. So even while traveling, I find time and place to work out. I use everything that I have at hand. For instance, you can run up and down the stairs and make lunges on them, you can work on your triceps on a chair. Sometimes I even take small 2-kg (4.4-lbs) dumbbells and leg weights with me to effectively work the buttocks and thighs.
A healthy, balanced diet. For breakfast, I usually have soft-boiled eggs and salmon, for lunch I opt for a cream soup or broth, and for dinner I eat fish with salad. For a snack, which I can’t do without either, I’ve been long preferring hazelnuts, dried fruits and apple fritters.
The inner "perfectionist" also helps, who is satisfied only when I see a beautiful body in the mirror, when I’m light in heart, and when the people around get inspired and motivated to work on themselves. Recently I’ve also been into SBC (Skinny Bitch Collective)—original training using own weight, not less effective than exercising on machines or with arm and leg weights.
It's no secret that the most intense burst of motivation is experienced in moments of being totally in love. It is love that serves as my source of energy which gives me strength to work on myself and my body. And, of course, it is useful to have a couple of influencers, so by watching them succeed you don’t take it for granted yourself. It especially helps to overcome the incessant desire to rest, lie down for a while and to eat. Sure, you can arrange a cheat day for yourself and be lazy, but after that I always feel beaten and find myself catching up with extra zeal. After all, sport is a lifestyle, not temporary periods of being active from motivation to motivation.
