The 10th anniversary collection of French house Chanel’s global creative makeup and color designer, Lucia Pica, is dedicated to deep shades and matte textures, which is why it was named Apotheosis, Le Mat de Chanel.
The entire line will get updated, offering the popular Les 4 Ombres eye shadow palettes in two colorways: Clair Obscur, consisting of light and subdued beige, chocolate and rich gray-brown shades, and Quiet Revolution, which includes deep blue, electric, light pink and black with a warm brown tone.
The eyeshadow/kohl liner hybrid Stylo Ombre Et Contour comes in trendy colors: coal-black Contour Sombre, graphite Contour Graphique and light brown Contour Clair.
There is a new product for the lips—a lipstick pen with velour texture Le Rouge Crayon De Couleur Mat in six shades: Discretion, Impact, Subversion (Lucia’s favorite tone), Excess, Provocation and Impulsion.
The cult lip ink Rouge Allure Ink will be available in four new shades: Euphorie (coral), Expression (purple-pink), Melancholia (fuchsia blackcurrant) and Serenity (brownish pink).
“I like oppositions in makeup. Matte applied to a glowy face creates a sense of depth,” Lucia Pica shares, offering to complement the look with new Joues Constraste powder blush in Quintessence.
Completing the range are two new matte Le Vernis nail polish tones: Ultime, a bright red, and Profondeur, a deep bordeaux.
