Paying tribute to summertime, while retaining the signature careless glamor, found in countless collections of Spanish fashion house Paco Rabanne, its creative director Julien Dossena went in search for inspiration far beyond the borders of his native Brittany, to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Thanks to the change of scenery, the lookbook of the new Paco Rabanne Resort 2019 collection breathes salty waves breaking against the majestic boulders, captured during the long-awaited weekend on the beach.

Traditional animal prints combined with lace, metal mesh, yellow raincoats, massive summer boots and clogs, embellished with rivets, further develop the ephemeral look of Dossena’s Parisian girl, who is able to transform even the ordinary daytime look into an elegant evening outfit, brought back to earth only by the need to be weather-appropriate.
