Creative director of French fashion house Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, has got something to share not only with his label’s fans, but also with people striving for success.
In a documentary, scheduled for release in 2019, the 32-year-old designer will tell a story about his path from an orphanage and adoptive parents in Bordeaux to well-deserved fashion fame. The project’s director is Matt Tyrnauer, known for his documentaries “Valentino: Last Emperor” and “Studio 54”.
"At the beginning I was the Balmain baby and now Balmain is my baby. I feel sometimes that my life is like a fashion paradox. I'm adopted, I came from an orphanage, and I wanted to show people that dreams can come true; to give a positive message and say that if you believe in yourself and you believe in a dream it can happen," Olivier Rousteing shares the message of the upcoming film.
