The newest Fall 2019 Ready-to-Wear collection of Australian designer Nicky Zimmermann’s brand of the same name was inspired by the life story of Nancy Wake, a British spy working for the French Resistance during World War II. Wake also went down in history as the "White Mouse," because she was so good at hiding and impossible to catch. During the years of her work, she liberated thousands of persecuted in France and helped the country fight the German invaders.

“I love the idea of such a feminine, skillful, and selfless figure—a woman who helped people in the most difficult of circumstances,” the designer shared the message of her collection.

As a result, delicate and seemingly vulnerable creatures strode down the catwalk, donning the brand’s trademark floaty dresses and tulle minis. But there’s strength and fortitude to them too, expressed by massive belts, leather berets, overalls, the metallic luster of over-the-knee boots, and animal prints.
